Dissolved Oxygen / Temperature Benchtop Meter – Jenco | Model 9173 / 9173R
The Jenco 9173 and 9173R are polarographic dissolved oxygen benchtop meters designed for water quality laboratories, environmental monitoring, aquaculture, and research applications requiring accurate DO measurement. Both models share identical measurement performance and physical construction, differing only in the inclusion of an RS-232C computer interface on the 9173R for direct PC data transfer.
The large dual LCD display simultaneously shows dissolved oxygen in either ppm or percent saturation alongside temperature, giving the operator complete measurement context at a glance. ATC uses a 10k thermistor for accurate automatic temperature compensation across the operating range. User-selectable salinity compensation from 0.0 to 40.0 ppt and programmable pressure compensation from 600 to 1100 mbar accommodate diverse sampling environments from freshwater to high-salinity marine samples and varying elevations. One-point calibration data is retained in memory and restored automatically on power-up, eliminating the need to recalibrate after switching the instrument off. The splash-resistant reinforced plastic case with protective connector covers suits demanding laboratory and field-adjacent environments.
