Eppendorf Tubes® BioBased are manufactured from polypropylene derived from sugarcane-based renewable raw materials, reducing dependence on fossil resources while maintaining full functional equivalence to conventional PP tubes. The bio-based material meets the same performance standards for chemical resistance, centrifugal force tolerance, and autoclavability as standard Eppendorf tubes. Four formats cover the complete range from microvolume 5 mL to large-capacity 50 mL centrifuge tubes, all with screw cap closure for secure sealing during storage and transport. Suitable for general sample storage, centrifugation, and laboratory use where sustainable material sourcing is a procurement requirement.
