CO₂ Incubator, Active Humidity Control, Infrared CO₂ Sensor – Memmert | ICO Series
The Memmert ICO series provides precisely controlled incubation conditions for mammalian cell culture, tissue culture, and aerobic microbiological applications requiring a CO₂-enriched atmosphere. Temperature, humidity, and CO₂ are independently controlled and monitored through a single interface. The infrared CO₂ sensor delivers stable, long-term CO₂ readings without cross-sensitivity to humidity changes — a critical advantage over thermal conductivity sensors in high-humidity cell culture environments. Active humidity control (available as a model option) maintains precise rh setpoints and prevents condensation inside the chamber. The stainless steel interior is smooth and easy to decontaminate. Available in four chamber volumes from 56 L to 241 L for both small research laboratories and higher-throughput culture operations.
