The Jenco 6177MB and 6177BEU are fifth-generation Bluetooth benchtop pH meters that retain the measurement accuracy and build quality Jenco is known for while adding full iOS and Android tablet connectivity via free dedicated apps. This connectivity transforms the meter’s data handling capability from a standalone instrument into a networked laboratory measurement system without any compromise to core measurement performance.
The Bluetooth connection enables complete remote control of all on-meter functions, guided calibration procedures that walk operators through the process step by step, real-time graphing of pH and temperature data, and direct data sharing to apps such as Notes and Evernote or cloud services including Google Docs. GLP-compliant data storage covers more than 10,000 sets of pH or ORP and temperature readings, alongside full calibration records including calibration date, buffers used, calibration slopes, and calibration offsets — meeting the documentation requirements of pharmaceutical, environmental, and food industry QC laboratories.
Measurement specifications match the high standard of the full Basis Series: 0.01 pH resolution with ±0.01 pH accuracy, 0.1 mV resolution with ±0.05% F.S. mV accuracy, and up to 5-point pH calibration with automatic US and NIST European buffer recognition. The extended temperature range of -10.0 to 120.0°C and temperature compensation range to match ensure accurate readings across demanding sample conditions. The backlit high-contrast LCD simultaneously displays pH or ORP with temperature, electrode efficiency, and last calibration date. Every unit is hand calibrated and verified by at least two independent QC teams.
