Millex® Syringe Filter, Non-Sterile – Millipore | PVDF & Hydrophilic PTFE, 0.2–0.45 µm, 13–33 mm

Millex® syringe filters from Millipore deliver reliable particulate removal for HPLC sample preparation, mobile phase filtration, and routine laboratory clarification. The PVDF membrane (Millex-HV at 0.45 µm; Millex-GV at 0.22 µm) offers low non-specific protein adsorption and is compatible with aqueous buffers, biological fluids, and mildly organic solvents — making it the standard choice for protein-containing HPLC samples. The hydrophilic PTFE membrane (Millex-LG at 0.20 µm) provides superior chemical inertness for highly aggressive solvents, strong acids, and bases, while the hydrophilic treatment eliminates the need for pre-wetting with aqueous samples. All variants are supplied non-sterile with a female Luer Lock inlet and male Luer slip outlet for standard syringe compatibility. The 33 mm Millex-HV is suited for larger sample volumes requiring higher throughput.
