RYX series CO₂ incubators are designed for precise and stable cell and tissue culture environments where simultaneous control of temperature, CO₂ concentration, and humidity is essential. Six-sided heating combined with breeze circulation and an air jacket system ensures excellent temperature uniformity and stability, eliminating the localised cold spots that can affect cell viability in conventional single-heater incubators. Temperature distribution accuracy of ±0.3°C at 37°C meets the strict requirements of mammalian cell culture and sensitive biological experiments.
CO₂ concentration is measured and controlled using an imported infrared (IR) type sensor, which provides stable, long-service-life measurement unaffected by frequent door opening and closing — a significant advantage over thermal conductivity sensors commonly used in lower-specification incubators. The CO₂ control range covers 0–20% with ±0.5% fluctuation, accommodating a wide range of biological applications. The DUF import CO₂ filter ensures gas purity at the introduction port. Humidity inside the chamber is maintained at ≥90% at 37°C.
The 5-inch LCD touch screen interface displays temperature, CO₂ concentration, and sterilisation procedure in real time, and allows users to set programs, store history, and view historical data and curves via the microcomputer control system. The system includes an appointment function, thermostat and start timing, fixed value and program operation modes, and U-disk historical data export. A 140°C dry heat sterilisation cycle completes in under 12 hours total including high-temperature phase (approximately 2 hours) and cool-down, and can be scheduled to run automatically overnight.
Safety functions include temperature alarm, CO₂ concentration alarm, door control alarm, lock screen, and power failure protection.
