The Faithful FS-50B and FS-70B constant temperature shaking incubators are compact desktop instruments designed for microbial culture, cell growth studies, enzyme reactions, dissolution testing, and biochemical incubation applications where orbital agitation and temperature control must operate simultaneously within an enclosed chamber. The cyclotron oscillation mechanism produces smooth, circular flask motion with three-axis level drive and a spring wire rack oscillating plate, ensuring consistent agitation across all flask positions without the vibration or noise typical of reciprocating designs.

Both models share identical oscillation performance: 20 mm amplitude, 30 to 300 rpm speed range with ±1 rpm precision, and bidirectional automatic rotation switchover — a feature that periodically reverses the direction of oscillation to prevent uneven culture growth and ensure thorough mixing in all flask geometries. Quick stop-start capability and a gating system with power-off protection prevent uncontrolled rotation during power interruptions.

The primary distinction between models lies in temperature control capability. The FS-50B operates from RT+5°C to 65°C using heating only, making it suitable for warm incubation applications. The FS-70B adds an R134a air-cooled hermetic compressor refrigeration system, extending the temperature range down to 4°C, enabling sub-ambient incubation for cold-sensitive cultures, enzyme reactions requiring low-temperature stability, and controlled cold-chain biological experiments. Both models use horizontal convection airflow, imported resin observation windows, mirror stainless steel inner chambers, polyurethane thermal insulation, and ABS outer shells.

Temperature and cyclotron parameters are independently controlled via LCD PID intelligent systems with touch button setting and dedicated LCD displays. The PT100 temperature sensor and Hoare speed sensor provide accurate real-time feedback. A shared timer covers 0 to 9999 minutes with fixed value operation, auto stop, and quick stop-start. Safety features include over-temperature alarm, menu lock, gating system power-off protection, and plugging turn protection.
