Description
Vacuum Pump AS20 – Oil-Free (China)
The AS20 Vacuum Pump is a compact, oil-free laboratory vacuum pump designed for routine vacuum applications where clean, maintenance-friendly operation is required. Built around a piston-type oil-free mechanism, this pump eliminates the risk of oil backflow or contamination, making it especially suitable for filtration units, vacuum manifolds, desiccators, rotary evaporators (light duty), and general laboratory suction tasks.
With its quiet operation and lightweight construction, the AS20 is well-suited for use in teaching laboratories, research labs, quality control environments, and small industrial setups. The integrated thermal protection system enhances operational safety by preventing overheating during extended use, while the built-in inlet filter protects internal components from particulates and moisture. A front-mounted vacuum gauge allows real-time monitoring of vacuum levels, ensuring controlled and repeatable performance during experiments.
The AS20 series is widely used as a cost-effective alternative to diaphragm and oil-sealed pumps for applications that do not require deep high vacuum, offering reliable performance with minimal servicing requirements.
