Description
PTFE Magnetic Stir Bars, Tapered Shape – China (T-01 to T-03)
PTFE tapered magnetic stir bars are designed for laboratory applications where access to narrow or tapered vessel geometries is required. The tapered profile allows these bars to seat naturally within conical or narrow-base containers, ensuring stable rotation without wobbling or stalling — a common limitation of cylindrical bars in such vessels.
Manufactured from high-purity PTFE, they provide excellent chemical resistance against virtually all laboratory solvents, acids, alkalis, and oxidising agents, making them safe for use in sensitive analytical and synthetic chemistry applications. The smooth non-stick PTFE surface resists sample adhesion, supports clean retrieval, and allows easy cleaning or sterilisation between uses.
Available in three sizes, these bars cover small to medium vessel applications and are compatible with all standard magnetic stirrer hotplates. Their compact dimensions make them particularly useful in reaction vials, small flasks, and any container where a shorter, tapered form factor provides better fit and more efficient mixing than standard bar shapes.
